About this coffee

Generously sweet.

Jesus Gomez produced this 100% Caturra lot on his farm El Encanto, meaning ‘charm’ in the municipality of Palestina, Huila. Huila has the greatest volume of coffee production in Colombia and the majority of producers use a wet mill known as a Beneficio, which pulps cherries completely and washes the beans until they are clean and free of all sticky fruit mucilage. Fermentaion then takes place in tanks for 24 to 36 hours prior to the beans being sun dried for 20 days.
