About this coffee

Another beautiful Limoncillo from the Ethiosar region.

The Mierisch family farms are renowned for their experimental processing methods, and have absolutely nailed this pulped natural coffee. This is the second coffee we’ve had from El Limoncillo , but this is of the rarer varietal Ethiosar.

It’s been created by Ricardo, Erwin Mierisch’s cousin, and is a hybrid of Rume Sudan and Villa Sarchi. Sarchimore has also been added, making the varietal resistant to the devastating leaf rust disease.

This coffee is the perfect example of the Mierisch’s willingness to push the boundaries in coffee production and has resulted in a delicious cup.
