About this Coffee

Everyone loves Big Joe, they’re always up for a good time. Comprising two delicious single-origins from Africa, Big Joe is for easy drinking, all year-round.

Big Joe, just like the name suggests, is big in flavour. This filter blend is syrupy smooth, with delicate stone fruit and rich chocolate flavours. Big Joe is friends with nearly everyone too, but gets along best with your plunger, Chemex, AeroPress, Moccamaster and cone filter, but probably not your espresso machine.

The Golden Ratio

We recommend a ratio of 60g of freshly ground coffee for every litre of water. This is a good place to start, but you can fine-tune your recipe to suit your taste. You'll find some suggested brewing ratios of hot water to ground coffee for you to use below.
