About this coffee

The Five Star Day is our seasonal espresso blend.

The Honduran Manantial comes from the towering heights of 1650 metres above sea level on an eight hectare farm in the hills of Intibuca. Here producer Pablo Salazar has been growing coffee for twenty years, using organic practices and his own wet mill to process each harvest. With help from the favourable climate conditions and the assistance of his wife and four children he comes to produce this beautifully balanced coffee.

The Kenyan shines a brightness of blackcurrant acidity on the blend, coming from a selection of farms across the Nyeri and Kirinyaga districts in the Central Kenyan highlands. The high altitudes here provide excellent growing conditions, allowing the beans to slowly mature. After harvesting, each lot is delivered to a nearby cooperative to be milled and sorted before being combined by size and density for export.
